Capture an authentic product journey and render local recordings into two MP4 formats with trim and zoom cuts, timed captions and optional narration. Includes an FFmpeg renderer, editable manifest and production guide. Requires browser recording, Python and FFmpeg; optional voice service costs are separate. Download the full ZIP.

Deliver a demo that shows a real task completed: a problem, the decisive interaction, and a visible result. Prefer 30–60 seconds unless the brief says otherwise. The full ZIP is required for the renderer and production guide.

Shape the story

Identify the audience, one action they should take afterward, aspect ratios, and the app state needed to demonstrate the result. Use a demo account with synthetic data. Reuse the user's brand and chosen voice. Do not invent customer results, metrics, endorsements or capabilities.

Inspect the actual app before writing the narration. Pick three to five beats and make each earn its screen time. A typical sequence is: messy starting point → key action → useful output → invitation. Write narration to the observed UI, avoiding clicks that cannot be reproduced.

Capture and edit

Read the production guide for browser capture, framing, audio and recovery. A browser automation tool or screen recorder is needed for capture. Python 3.10+, FFmpeg with libx264, and ffprobe are needed for rendering; a TTS tool/account is optional and billed separately.

Capture the journey using actual visible controls. Record separate takes when necessary; avoid masking sensitive data only after it has already been captured. Inspect the full recording for private content before using it.

Copy the manifest, point it to local clips, and enter observed trim points, optional crop rectangles, timed captions and optional narration. Paths resolve relative to the manifest. Crop rectangles zoom into the selected region; preview both aspect ratios so controls and text stay readable.

The renderer strips source audio, joins clips, pads to 1280×720 and 720×1280, adds optional narration, and emits an SRT plus selectable MP4 captions. It does not burn captions into pixels or create a voice itself. Add burned captions only if the destination needs them, using a supported local editor, and verify that export again.

Verify and deliver

Watch both files end to end. Check the first/last frames, action visibility, cuts, readable crop, caption timing, voice pronunciation and audio level. Selectable captions may not display automatically in social players; deliver the SRT or a separately verified burned-caption export as appropriate.

Return both MP4s, captions, the editable manifest, and the render report. Distinguish technical checks from the visual/audio review. If capture or narration is unavailable, deliver only the clearly described work completed; a storyboard is not a finished video. Publishing is a separate user-authorized action.

The full procedure, checklists and output format unlock after purchase.
